Raitei-san, Thanks for your comment. I don't have any proof that ネガポジcould be used in relation to user feedback, but the idea just popped into my mind, since the the explanation included the process leading to product launch, and there are times when a company conducts an experimental sale of the product before actually launching it into the market.

Yasutomo san: No offense, but I have never heard a Japanese person use the term ネガ・ポジ in relation to user feedback (so far I have only seen the term used with film). I think you are mixing English with Japanese in this case. However, if you can provide us proof of its common usage, I would be most pleased.

Frankly, if I had to just put something down, Yasutomo's first suggestion is the only one that really makes sense. To quote: "Like you said, it's one of the process leading to a product launch. Therefore, the company is taking a photo of the product to be launched, and this ネガポジcould mean the film itself." The second suggestion, while possible, strikes me as a bit far-fetched. FWIW.

Second meaning: It could mean a negative/positive feedback from test users. I'm not sure what product you are talking about here, but the company has done a market research and maybe distributed it as a sample product (could be a prototype) and see the reactions of the test users. This could either a free give-out, or sold in a certain area only for a certain period as a test (this happens usually to snacks and cigarettes). And this could be one of the process leading to the product launch.
