泥絵の具(DOROENOGU)テンペラ画で使用される顔料.泥を染め付けた絵の具.天然の土などをにかわと混ぜて使用します.別名:水干(SUIHI)絵の具
Mud paint:Use tempera painting pigment. Pigments made from dyed doro (mud). Natural mud is mixed with glue and then applied. These pigments are also known as suihi.

agree  Martha McClintock: basically i think the term mud paint is rather too "direct translation" and would come up with an alternative. dyed mud pigment even sounds less blunt. Distemper sounds even better.
