Not sure about British English, but as for usage of it, I usually hear オーライ!in Japan only when I am backing up and other people are helping you to park backwards, so probably Akio's answer is the closest in terms of meaning. You could put "All right" or something similar, but I am wondering if that will describe the sence of this Japanese expression completely))). Probably you could use "All right (when backing up)" or someting similar. |
