Japanese term or phrase: 副C長
This is a person's position in the company. What does "C" stand for? If it was S I would have guessed section chief, if D department manager, but I can't figure out what C would be. Committee, maybe?

Vice Chairman

Explanation:
If "D" is Department Chief and "S" is Section Chief (which use first letters “D” and “S” of the English titles, could the "C" perhaps stand for Chairman? With the 副 before it, it could be Vice Chairman.

So maybe he is the 副会長 or 副委員長 (vice chairman of a committee).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chairman
The chairman is the highest office of an organized group such as a board, committee, or deliberative assembly.
In the absence of the chairman and vice chairman, groups sometimes elect a chairman pro tempore to fill the role for a single meeting.
