Translating the sentence into English ;-), I think your correspondent wanted to say: "Has anyone gotten back to you with any job offers? Have you been unemployed for a long time there in Japan? I'm a bit confused about your situation." My interpretation of the last sentence is a big guess because I think what s/he is trying to say is: "I'm a little confused about whether you DO have a job BUT want a new one, or if you do NOT have a job AND want a new one--please explain!" However, since I don't know the context of your conversation with the other person, I cannot say for certain if my interpretation is correct. Hope this helps. |
