Japanese term or phrase: 営事 (abbreviation?)

Context: Memo regarding a bid for production rights of an automotive part. The paragraph is regarding the tendered price and begins:

営事ではボトム値としてX円で合意、Y円で初回提示。

Where "Y" is a slightly higher figure than "X".

One possible translation is "At 営事, we agreed on a bottom price of X yen, and initially tendered Y yen." The paragraph continues with a description of being forced to lower the tendered price due to being underbid by rival companies.

I could not find any reference and assume 営事 must be an abbreviation of the name of a department, meeting, type of business procedure, etc. Has anyone ever seen this before, or have you any ideas what it might be short for?

Any assistance or ideas are greatly appreciated.

たまたま訳していた資料のなかに何度もこの「営事」が出てきます。この会社では上記のような英語表記になっていましたよ。「営事」自体は営業事業部の略のようですが。
