Context and my selection 07:43 Aug 28, 2009
This was a notarial deed: for what it was unclear. It was a very short document, with no context really. It just basically said 嘱託人: and the name of the party. I hesitated to use the word "client," just because I am not so familiar with it in this context. For example, I went to UPS myself once to get a form notarized, and I don't know if in that situation I would have been known as the "client." It sounds too heavy-duty. So what I eventually went with was the "Requesting party." Not my favorite choice, and I am not sure about it, but I think it probably captures the idea OK and safely. I'd be interested to know what you guys think of the final selection. |
