Japanese term or phrase: 2章以下
2章以降に○○を示す。

I am currently translating this phrase as "[Such and such] is shown in the following two chapters," but I am not completely comfortable with this. Alternatively, I am considering "[Such and such] is shown from Chapter 2." However, for "Chapter 2", I would expect the source texts to be 第2章 rather than just 2章. I only have one chapter of a multi-chapter document, so it does not help to 'look at the context'.

Is there anyone who has detailed knowledge of documentation nomenclature?

from Chapter 2
Explanation:
Without the context it's a bit difficult to be certain what is meant, but it wouldn't be "the following two chapters" as that would be "以下の2章" or something similar.
I would go with "from Chapter 2 onwards" or something similar, perhaps with a note explaining that you can't be 100% certain without seeing the context.

Thank you to everyone who responded. I perceive a general agreement on the correct translation from the three respondents, but ProZ allows me to choose only one.
