Japanese to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Cosmetics, Beauty / cosmetics | | Japanese term or phrase: サロンキープ | サロンキープ
This behavior means the customer returns to the same salon, sticks to it.
I need a good short English expression or word for this - if possible, a noun. |

| Grading comment Yes, this is it: "salon loyalty", thanks.
For Daisuke: No, I do not misunderstand the meaning. I explained the meaning in my question because that's what the context is, that's what the rest of the text talks about.
Although I have never heard of the other version of this "salon keep" with the cosmetics, but I believe it exists, as so many slimy sales schemes are around... But my text is not about that. 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer |

20 mins confidence: private cosmetics (kept) at a salon
Explanation: Katalin, you may be misunderstanding the meaning of "サロンキープ". As far as I can understand the meaning of this word appearing in the first link, I think it is the cosmetics version of "ボトルキープ". "ボトルキープ" is one of Japanese English phrases, and this means that people can have your own private bottle (of whisky, Japanese sake, 焼酎 (distilled spirit), and so on) kept at a bar or at a club (I mean, "クラブ" that you often find in Ginza). So, "サロンキープ" is a system in which you can keep your own cosmetics at a salon, like "ボトルキープ". I think this is supported by other sites containing "サロンキープ".
