In the Japanese Britannica encyclopedia it says that "commercial education" (商業教育)
became a part of the education system in the late 1800's. In 1899 the 実業学校令 and商業学校規程 were passed, and led to the founding of many 商業学校. So "school of commerce" might sound it bit out of place in WW2, how about "school for commercial education"? |
