Hi, I had wanted to provide the context but I couldn't do so on the website the first time I tried. There wasn't any selection available. I tried again today and found that I could type my reply here. Anyway, the term appeared on a wiring diagram for an air-conditioner that was explaining how to wire the circuits. I selected transition wiring because it was the first answer. I would certainly appreciate alternative views if you think the correct answer should be otherwise. Thanks!
