Japanese term or phrase: 即知信号

This is all over the document. I believe it is used to synchronize a mobile terminal with a base station. SO far I've been using "known signal" as a placeholder in my document, but I think there must be a more exact term for this.

I searched manually for(Soku chi shingō)in my (jap-eng)diccanary as kodansha and light house, and i think it's much closer to right answer.
