Howdy, Kurt. Long time no "see." Thanks for the help. It certainly sounds like something has separated from the lens, but it doesn't say what, so I was thinking this might be some kind of industry term with a different meaning.

agree  Yoohoo : Yes, that would be it. Or you can use the term "floating". Floating is a form of separation, but is used to distiguish the type of separation from something like "peeling off". But SAPARATION is what it means.
