English translation:Tackle coming tasks with basis on past business
Explanation:
I think it's talking about how it will deal with any coming tasks by using past business ventures as a basis to go off of. The use of に feels a bit off here, but I'm not 100% sure. There must be a の omitted in there somewhere..

Dealing with / tackling future challenges based on past business (experience)..

Explanation:
I think there is an error in the original japanese sentence here. Perhaps the author meant,

過去のビジネスを基盤に次なる課題に取り組んでいます

Found somewhat relevant sentence while searching..

私たちは過去の取り組みを基盤とし、次なる課題に取り組んでいます

http://kawauchi.la.coocan.jp/03hassin.htm

Although 課題 may mean action assignment / assignment / challenge / exercise / issue / task, I feel challenge is more appropriate here.
