The text below is not from my document, but I would like to know what "クラッチが継がったまま" means and how it would be translated. Would it be "with the clutch is still engaged"? Thanks in advance.

摩耗の徴候

* 半クラッチから完全に継がる瞬間に少し滑る様な気がする。
* 高速道路でアクセルを踏み込むと、何だか滑る様なロスが出ている感じが する。

これらはクラッチプレートの寿命が近付いて来ていると思われます。フィーリングに変化が現れると、割と短い期間で発進不能にまで至ってしまう事も多いので、早目にクラッチ交換の為の貯金を始めた方が良いと思います。
