Japanese to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general)
Japanese term or phrase: 取り払い
富裕層向けサービスの取り払いを開始

I'm translating an article about how a bank is beginning to offer services to affluent clients, and am just curious about why they say "取り払いを開始," since to me 取り払い suggests getting rid of something, rather than removing it.

Why do they put it that way?

Thanks!
