英訳を勉強中です。今、訳出している書類には、「見積りを依頼中」「修理を依頼中」という言葉が多用されています。
自然な英語では、｢依頼中」を、どのように訳出するものでしょうか…。
「Ａ社に見積りを依頼中」
(主語を例えばweとします。weを使わない方法がありましたら、そちらもご教示ください）
We are requesting a quote from A. （Aがなかなか見積りを出してこない、という苛立ちのニュアンスになる？）
We have requested a quote from A. (現在完了形なので、見積りはまだ受け取っていないニュアンスになる？）
We are waiting for a quote from A. （これが自然かな、と思うのですが）

「Ａ社に修理を依頼中」
(主語を例えばweとします。weを使わない方法がありましたら、そちらもご教示ください）
We have asked A to carry out repairs. （まだ修理は始まっていない？）
We have placed a repair order with A.
Repairs are being carried out by A. (修理が始まっている場合）
