This is taken from a document title. My question is, what is the （ワ） referring to. Is it like (a), (b), (c)?

Explanation:
I think using Roman number instead of English alphabet is better in this case because "ワ”（”わ”）is listed at No. 44 out of 46 Japanese alphabet in total, therefore there are simply not enough English alphabet to number it accordingly.

Anyway, just a thought.
