Japanese to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents / Basic patentese
Japanese term or phrase: によれば
I'd like to know how this term is rendered in patentese. The document I'm editing says "according to". I'm inclined to use something like "with". The most common example is このような構成によれば, which the translator puts as "according to such a construction" whereas I am more comfortable with "with such a construction". But then, I don't know patentese that well.

Thanks for this one also. I apologize for the confusion caused by trying to confirm the English for two different phrases (ni yoreba and ni kakawaru) when the original had "according to" for both.
