Japanese to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Marketing / Market Research
Japanese term or phrase: 着地見込み
This phrase is in one of the columns of a table showing a company's operating expenses. "Forecast" should probably do for 見込み, but 着地 (which literally means "landing") used in conjunction with 見込み, I am not sure how to translate. It appears to be a common jargon among salespeople. One blog written by a salesperson cited "本社にいて悩ましいのは、現場から送られてくる着地見込み月初の計画に対して、どこで着地するのか?"

"Achievement forecast" is my current guess. Anyone has a better idea? Thanks!

Just a suggestion. I think there are many possibilities for this translation, so it would depend on the nuance of your document.

This will do I suppose, though I'm wondering if there's a more sales jargon-y word out there for this. Thank you though.
