Japanese term or phrase: 意匠力と設計力　
デザイン工学におけるデザイン能力の説明として、「意匠力、構想力、計画力、設計力」とあるのですが、上の２つをどう訳し分ければよいか困っています。意匠力と設計力ってどっちもdesign skillではないかと思うのですが、何か違いがあるのでしょうか。

"Skill" can be replaced with a variety of different synonyms to suit the context, ie., know-how, technique, savvy, etc.

But, I think your original choice works just fine.
