I found the following article on wood deck. イベ材 is Brazillian produced hardwood. Naturally resistance to termite? and weatherproof.

Evasion lapping material


Explanation:
Inter Press Dictionary of Science and Engineering gives two terms which include イベ, in view of the context, I think this is the most likely. (I thought I had answered this by inserting a comment earlier, but mail today recommended that I confirm this for Casey' sake. BTW I note that several answerers wrote イペ instead of イベ . Inter only uses イベ for the two examples given.
