Japanese to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering / Preventive Maintenance
Japanese term or phrase: 厳止
These are two characters of a short title for a paragraph on storage safety for grease drums (accidental tip-overs, knockdowns, etc).
The entire title is "横倒し厳止"

Perhaps "厳止" is .(something) prevention....?

Just in case, here is a sentence from the paragraph.
その泡は使用する際に抜けない。これがポンプ圧送の折の支障になり、グリースの酸化を促進する。
Any help would be appreciated.

English translation:strictly forbidden
Explanation:
My guess is that 厳止 is an equivalent for 厳禁, strictly forbidden. The grease drums should never be rolled over or placed sideways, except placing them something like "this face up", i.e. they must be standing.
