Explanation:
I discussed this with one of the 介助者 for one of my students, and th only thing we could think of is that its not a single word, but 原則 is on its own, meaning just "in principle," such as 原則として.

"...in principle (as a general rule), an assistant (helper)..."

I discussed this with one of the 介助者 for one of my students, and th only thing we could think of is that its not a single word, but 原則 is on its own, meaning just "in principle," such as 原則として.
