Japanese to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general) / Symptoms of skin disease
Japanese term or phrase: 癒合
Part of the sentence:皮疹には癒合傾向を認めた。Does 癒合 mean stickiness, or healing?
Please clarify.

English translation:coalescence
Explanation:
It is talking about skin lesions, 皮疹:skin eruption/rash. When individual lesions start to get bigger and unite/fuse with adjacent lesions, the term usually used is 'coalesce'. So my take on that Japanese sentence is that things are getting worse, making bigger lesions on the skin. I need to read the whole thing to be sure, but I am fairly certain.
