Explanation: BIG problem is that original source Japanese seems to be generated by the machine translation... barely making any sense. (I'm Japanese native.)
Still, when Japanese people put 'assessment' that "Someone has the capacity/inclination for 自ら気付く” means:
If there is something wrong in front of that person, that person can notice it by oneself. Doesn't have to wait for until someone points that out = she/he is always aware of the situation or what's going on - etc.
Usually this is what that expression - 自ら気付く(ことができる) means. It's complete opposite of self-awareness.
