English translation:person's name?
Explanation:
The first website below lists the person's (Goh Shikei) adoptive father as "呉保安"--family name Goh, but I'm not sure about the given name--Hoh An or Bao An perhaps? After his mother died in Mudanjiang during the Soviet war, he was taken in and raised by 呉保安. Anyway, this website is put together by the organisation for Chinese orphans (中国残留孤児援護基金)--Japanese left behind in China during the war--of which this person Goh Shikei was apparently one. Do you have any more information? Is this at all along the right track? Good luck.

...or, another, completely different person!

This website lists a series of 5 books, the second of which (今古奇観 (2) 明代短編小説選集) is a book of comic sketches/stories from the Ming Dynasty, in which a young man disguised as a woman goes round and chats with the local housewives to find out what they really think. If you look at the table of contents on this webpage, the 11th tale involves ¥"abandoning the house of 呉保安 and redeeming a friend.¥" As I¥'m not familiar with Chinese literature, I have no idea what that story is about, but since you put this query under ¥"literature¥", perhaps this is closer to what you¥'re looking for. It looks like it¥'s a name in any case though.
