From a book called 沈まぬ太陽.
I'm thinking this would be translated as something like "Chairman's Stories"?

Chairman's Stories sounds good to me, or if you want to be more literal, Stories in the Chairman's Room.

会長室篇　is one of the three books of 沈まぬ太陽 which consists of three books. One is アフリカ篇 and the other one is 御巣鷹山篇.

Yes, as everybody points out, 篇 or 編　is "edited by", "compiled by", or "version", etc. But in this case, 会長室篇 is used almost like a subtitle of the book, so I don't think it is necessary to literally translate it. Or if you do so, it rather sounds awkward in this context. 会長室篇 tells the story between the Chairman of an airline and one of his subordinate.

"Office of the Chairman" Compiled Stories


Explanation:
Or...Compiled Stories of the Office of the Chairman.

篇 = volume, book; chapter, section part; compilation, editing in Nelson's J-E Character Dictionary.

Since it has the word "室" after "会長", I think it should technically be "Office of the Chairman."

I think 篇 here just means section or part or chapter. So a literal translation would be "The chairmans office" chapter

agree  Tomo Fuji: I haven't read the book, but I guess it depicts dramas in the office and the impact of the office has on people in the room, so putting emphasis on the office seems appropriate. I like the quotations and I think without "chapter" might work well too.

agree  Daniel Bradley: 篇 in this context refers to the name of the chapter/section, although it sounds a little unusual to put 'chapter' after the chapter 's title. I agree with Tomo that you can probably go with just "The Chairman's office".

neutral  Tomo Fuji: I guess "stories" would correctly explain what the book is about, but I think the author intentionally used the word 篇 to give the audience the idea of "chapter," so I feel literal translation would be more appropriate in this case.
