|Kannada term or phrase: praya|
5 days confidence:
Two (or three) answers
Not many Kannada-English dictionaries available on-line, and certainly none that would work for me. I chased down the closest dialects I could find (all the way back to Hindi and Urdu), and only found "praya" in the Hindi dictionary as either "almost" or "generally".
According to WordAnywhere.com, "praya" translates as either an 8th of a day, or a 3-hour period.
Hopefully, you'll have enough context to dismiss or accept these words.
