Latin to English translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting / photography exhibition catalogue | | Latin term or phrase: laus urbis | I think this means something along the lines of 'praise of a city' but what is its use in the following Italian context? I don't think English speakers would be familiar with the term - in fact there are only 7 hits on uk google (and none explanatory) so i think I will have to translate it. I have also posted it in the Italian - English question category
