Spurns!

I knew there was a better word there, but couldn´t find it until morning haze. Of course it has to be \"spurns\". By using the fine and traditional translation \"Fortune favours the bold\" we set a scene somewhere in the past, where Fortune is a fine lady who gives her favour to the bold and brave. So then we want a matching word for \"rejects\". \"Scorns\" was getting warmer, but what that lady does with her rejected suitors is, she spurns them.
