Asker: Thank you very much!
But what is a year of salvation?
Asker: Is Belfast Agreement signed in 1998 meant here?
Asker: Sorry, Scotland Act of 1998?

Reference information: I suppose this has to do with some degree that has been given to someone: in plain words, "we gave, at the University of Glasgow, in the 15th of July of the year 1998".

Glad to hear that. I would say that "aedibus academicis" refers to the academic premises of Glasgow, i.e. the very University of Glasgow, which was for a very long time the only academic institution in Glasgow.

Asker: Thank you! I also think now that not Academy is meant here (in Glasgow Academy - is only the name of a school), but just premises of Glasgow University
