Latin term or phrase: modus duendi
Hello, Can anybody tell me the meaning of this expression? It appears in an Italian fashion marketing text and refers to the fact that their garments do not draw upon particular cultures or periods.

Explanation:
"Modus" means way, mode, style.

"Duendi" may be derived from the root form of the more common verb "induo", which means clothe, put on clothing (in English we have the technical word indumentum which comes from this root).

I do not know the exact context in which this appears, but from your description it would seem to fit. I hope this helps.
