Latin to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) / Medical Record | | Latin term or phrase: v expl | The context is: 'Dg St post v expl pedis sin cum fracturam calcanei'. If, as seems likely to me, 'dg' = 'diagnoseos (genitive)', St = 'Status', and 'v' = 'visam' (in agreement with 'fracturam'), it is mostly clear. But what on earth could 'expl.' stand for as an abbreviation?
I should be very grateful for any assistance. |

| Note to reference poster
Asker: 'complete, thorough' ('expletum')
'post v(isum) expl(etum) pedis sin(istri)' = 'after a thorough examination of the left foot', 'v(isum)' being acc. of the substantive (not perfect participle); 'visus' = 'looking, examination'
Thank you for your readiness to help, Liz.
