E Pluribus Unum
By Don Schiefelbein, AGA Executive Director

The ability of Americans to effectively live out the motto of the United States can be credited for much of our nation’s success. As you may remember from your civics class, our nation’s motto is E Pluribus Unum, the latin phrase for “From Many, One.” For those of you who don’t quite remember, pull out your spare change and read the inscription on the back of a quarter. A tremendous amount can be learned from those three simple words.
