Salutem dat plurimam: Gives most health, sends best greetings

Explanation:
Salutem dat, literally 'gives health' as in 'wishes health, gives greetings' as _salutem_ was used as a greeeting. This can be modified by e.g. _multam_ 'much' and our _plurimam_ 'most'.

disagree  Péter Jutai: David, You are almost right, but it is Salutem DICIT plurimam, and not salutem dat plurimam.

agree  Stephen C. Farrand: It seems that Cicero understood the abbreviation to be 'salutem dicit'. It's hard to argue with him :-)
