Translation: We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.
digna is not in ablativus, but it is accusativus pluralis, neutrum. With the new punctuation I think the sentence is fully understandable.
(recipimus: get, digna: accusativus, they get what they deserve, factis: ablativus because dignum 3 needs ablativus).
