Latin to English translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Religion | | Latin term or phrase: in miserationibus | I do not understand Latin. I am translating into English a German translation of a Latin text. The phrase "in miserationibus" in the following sentence was translated into German as "in Gnaden" and I'm not sure how to render it in English:
Nam ex tua propagatione nascetur homo iustus et pacificus, uir heros, cui nomen continebit *in miserationibus*, etiam quas quatuor litteras i.h.u.h. et ille rectam fidem et placidam oblationem mittet manum suam, et sumet de ligno uitae, et ejus ligni fructus erit omnium sperantium salus.

It can't come from german latin and hebrew, if it's latin it's by God's grace.

Asker: This is it - I just confirmed this elsewhere, since, as it turns out, the Latin is actually a translation from the Hebrew ברחמים which indeed means in mercy. I'll leave the question open until the 24 hours have passed, but thanks very much already!
