power of attorney gadījumā šis aspekts (kas kam izdevis) varētu būt svarīgāks, jo tur var pārādīties starpnieks (jurists) un tas var notikt arī starp privātpersonām.
authorisation is vispārīgāks termins, ko plaši lieto latviešu un EU tulkojumos.

latvis: Var būt gan power of attorney, gan vnk authority/authorization - viss atkarīgs no kādā lieta pilnvarots un cik formali tas darīts. ne jau visās valstīs valda tāda birokrātika ka LV!

Komerclikuma V sadaļā pārsvarā ir runāts par (b), bet 42. pants ir norāde arī uz (a): "darbinieki, kas nodarbināti preču pārdošanas vai pakalpojumu sniegšanas vietā, uzskatāmi par pilnvarotiem..." – respektīvi, vairs papildus pilnvarot nav vajadzīgs, tomēr "drošības labad" tāda pseidopilnvaru prakse joprojām pastāv, parasti tad, ja darbinieks darbojas ar mantību. drošību u. tml. Rietumnieki varētu pat brīnīties – vai tad nepietiek ar darba līgumiem, licencēm, amata aprakstiem, apliecībām, parakstiem par konfidencialitāti un likumos paredzēto atbildību...!?

Britu un austrāliešu praksē ir dokumenti, kas saucas
"Authority to Act",
un šāds nosaukums parāda atšķirību no advokātiskās pilnvaras jeb "power of attorney". ("Authority to act" ir vispārīgāks termins, virstermins, gadās ka to lieto arī "stiprākā paveida" jeb īsto pilnvaru apzīmēšanai.)
