Latvian to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / drug approval
Latvian term or phrase: use of word: iesaka
HZRK iesaka akceptet IB tipa izmainas. I've seen this translated as the Hum.Med.Reg.Comm. RECOMMENDS accepting this type of change, but 'iesakt' means start or commence, so can you explain if this is correct in the context and why? And if 'recommends' is wrong here, what should it be? It comes under the heading: Nolema. Thanks, David

English translation:recommends
Explanation:
"iesaka" and "iesākt" are two different words, meanings are different as well. One means "(he/she) recommends something", the other - "start, begin"
