Based on the documents submitted, and on the basis of Pharmaceutical Law, Article 5 (6), Article 10(9), Administrative Procedural Law Articles 59 & 65 (3), and the Cabinet of Ministers Decree No.172 of 28 February 2006 ‘Rules for Clinical Trials of Medicines and the evaluation of observations, reporting, labelling and modalities against good clinical practice requirements" Points 71 & 72, the ZVA hereby:
..but I am not sure whether I have translated 'article', 'paragraph' and 'points' correctly, as I think the ".." may be in the wrong place, and some of the words may be incorrectly spelled. Can anyone see errors in my translations of the legal terms?

daļa = paragraph (if it is a sub-section, otherwise is also used for 'chapter')
punkts = clause.
I'd also like to point out that the translation of "Ministru kabineta ...noteikumu nr. 172" is a bit odd.
"Noteikumi" (in the nominative case) is translated as regulation. (Decree would be something along the lines of "rīkojums"). Also, there is no need to write 'Cabinet of Ministers' before the word regulation.
Therefore, this should read 'Cabinet Regulation No 172 of......' |
