neutral  Gintautas Kaminskas: Yes, but this is highly idiomatic, even colloquial, and if there are going to be a lot of non-native English speakers in the audience I would stick to some more straightforward, e.g. "Now the honourable PM will say a few words/ will address you.

  -> (1) If you check out my first link, you'll see 72.200 hits where this phrase is used in FORMAL context by high authorities (2) if you think "give the floor" is idiomatic, then "perduoti žodį" is, too, 'cause "žodžiai" aren't straightforwardly "perduodami"
