Lithuanian to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) | | Lithuanian term or phrase: darbo sutartis dėl antraeilių pareigų | | . |
| | | English translation:employment contract for a secondary position | Explanation: I know emmployment contract is corrrect. Over a million hits on Google says it all. Pareigos is often used for the sense of 'position', but whether duties or position would be a better translation here, I cannot say without the full story. So you will have to decide. No hits for secondary, so I wonder if there is a better translation.

There is an explanation at http://www.buhalteris.lt/index.php?cid=94447&new_id=207222. Basically that it can be for other duties/another position with the same employer or another position with another employer. Americans call the latter a second job colloquially. But the employment contract usually does not mention the primary place of employment. So there would not be any special name for such a contract and the standard contract is used. |
