Lithuanian term or phrase: asara/ brias
I came across two words of possible Lithuanian origin in a Yiddish text and I'm wondering if anyone can figure out what they may be/mean in Lithuanian: the two words are asora (or asara) and the more important one is something that sounds like 'braja'. The meaning of the latter word might have something to do with cruelty or violence.

agree  Simona Zaranskyte Henderson: as regards the word "asara" I agree that it is a tear, but I am not sure about the word brias (may be iti is "byres/bires), which then would mean "a tear will fall"
