Malay to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Education / Pedagogy / entrance qualifications for a university course
Malay term or phrase: CPU
This is one item on a list of acceptable entry qualifications for a university course. Some of the others are STPM. UEC (United Examination Certificate), SAM/TEE, ...

Could CPU be "Central Phillipines University" -- that is all I could find on the interent.

Thanks.

Canadian Pre-University

Explanation:
CPU is the abbreviation for the Canadian Pre-University Programme offerred by Taylor's College, a private university college in Malaysia. "The Canadian Pre-University (CPU) Programme was pioneered by and has been operating successfully at Taylor's since 1983....The programme of study offered within the CPU programme is exactly the same as the final year of secondary schools in Ontario, Canada. Upon completion, students receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma."

Reference: CIMP (aka CPU)

Reference information:
Found in the website, CIMP stands for Canadian International Matriculation Program. So, CPU must be a Canadian program as well.
Though there are Malaysians who study in the Philippines, it's very unlikely their pre-u program offered here.
Could't find what CPU stands for though.
