Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / Malay lingua franca used at turn of 20th C. | | Malay term or phrase: kasep | Definition of 'kasep' is 'terlalu'. However, this definition doesn't seem to fit in the following context, a sentence in an hikayat written in 1910 in Malay lingua franca: "Anak Jokaryo, Joko kasep Simin, segera bangun menyusul anjingnya di jalanan desa dan dibawanya kembali ke gardu."
What would the English translation of 'kasep' be in this context? |
