Malayalam term or phrase: Ammachi
What is the difference between "amma" (mother) and ammachi? Is "ammachi" only used as a respectful address form for spiritual persons? Is the -chi suffix an equivalent of the -ji suffix in hindi? Is the "i" in Ammachi long or short. I would very much appreciate any help
