Local time: 17:06
English translation:Reserve company
Explanation:
First this is not army term.
In Mongolian Border Force, there are Border regiments, normally it can be compared with Army Battalions, but it is not exacltly battalion, and the Border regiment has Border Companies. The number of companies varies from Regiment to Regmiment but they can be 5-15 in number. They operate around the border-the area of operation. There is one company that operates at the Regiment headquarters, that is Reserve company or Reserve Border Company. When the help is needed in the border they are the one first called.
But outpost is another term, those Border Companies have their outposts numbered 2-5. From those outposts border patrols operate using different types of means of transportations to patrol the border.

By not army term, I meant in the Army there is no unit called Застав, that is to say it is not used in the Army. So just like we divide armed forces into army, air force, navy, and border force etc.. This is unique border force unit ana term only exist in Border Force.

That is right, I meant when I say it is not army term, there is no Застав in the Army. As you know, in the armed forces there are branches: army, navy, air force, border force etc., army does not have Застав and it is not used in the army. It is unique one only exist in the Border Force. Border Force in most countries is not military, rather it is police or sometimes para-military force.

Post is small in size, specially when you say outpost, it is normally unit stationed far from its main headquarters and in real operation. Unlike, reserve company is a unit normally operates at its headquarters, and importantly it is not in main operation rather it is unit ready for emergency.

"Reserve outpost" is the right term. "Company" is not exactly "застав" here.

Asker: Thanks for your input, but do you have any example texts, or any further input into the discussion here on whether it is a "training"or "reserve" post/company?

Asker: Thanks again for your input. As you said, "reserve" is appropriate in this context. In the translation I used neither company, nor outpost.

Asker: I really appreciate your detailed information. It's a bit confusing, though, when you say it's not an army term. The document which contained this term is definitely military.

Asker: If I understood you right, you're saying that beltgel in this context is NOT "training", but "reserve". And zastav is "company" not "post" or "outpost". Is that correct?
