Reference: Aikin Amanu Kano Reference information: I have a small tin, it has KANO etched on the bottom, the A doesn’t have a horizontal bar, the O has a small line on the top left and is slightly square shaped. I understand that makes the word KANO more like KUNO, or KURNO. I have looked to find out more about it, I have found work that matches it by a so said Nigerian artist, with the name Aikin Amadu Kano etched onto it. The tin I have has a pin prick in the centre on the lid, where there is a cross. If you would like photos of this please ask. |
