My translation: On each balance sheet date, the group examines deferred tax assets not recorded in the financial statements and their value is recorded in the financial statements.

The nothing doesn't seem to make sense - can anyone help? :)

English translation:...and their accounting value

Explanation:
On each balance sheet date, the group examines deferred tax assets not recorded in the financial statements and their accounting value.

This is not a good sentence as it does appear contradictory - how can the non-accounted for deferred tax assets actually have a value in the accounts, but that is what it says.
I suspect that what may have been meant is that the company reviews both non-accounted for deferred tax assets and those that are accounted for.
It might be an idea just to check the sentence with the customer.
